Stay Flexible: Mother Nature can be unpredictable, especially in the mountains. Be prepared to adjust your plans accordingly if weather conditions take a turn for the worse.

My travel routine this time was far from normal. I kept a “travel kit” on the passenger seat during this time, stocked with a mask, wipes, Lysol, disposable gloves, hand sanitizer, a spare mask and paper towels.

As 2019 was nearing its end, it had been a year full of surprises and exciting new experiences. Having my sister stay with me for a while and deciding to retire were the highlights.
