My travel routine this time was far from normal. I kept a "travel kit" on the passenger seat during this time, stocked with a mask, wipes, Lysol, disposable gloves, hand sanitizer, a spare mask and paper towels.

Between March 1 and May 31, 42 states and territories Implemented mandatory stay-at-home orders, and life became increasingly disrupted. However, Washington had yet to issue such orders.

The mini bike races, while competitive, are more about having fun. They're not as serious as the main races, with many riders dressing up in costumes and enjoying the playful atmosphere.

As 2019 was nearing its end, it had been a year full of surprises and exciting new experiences. Having my sister stay with me for a while and deciding to retire were the highlights.

The Pacific Northwest is my home, and after trying to find a better place to live, in the 1980s, I realized there's no place I'd rather be.
